Dancing with the Stars - Big Buddy Program
When Success Labs’ Fall 2006 Leadership Coaching Series partnered with Gay Mack, the executive director of The Big Buddy Program they had an idea –to start their first ever fundraising event. Big Buddy had come up with a great concept –a local “Dancing with The Stars” but that’s as far as they had gotten. The Success Labs’ Leadership Coaching Series project teams took it from there. The groups spent 5 weeks conceptualizing the fundraiser from location and logistics to marketing and financial considerations. They presented their ideas to a review board that included Gay Mack as well as senior leaders from their own organizations. Using many of the ideas and strategies created by the Success Lab’s Leadership Coaching Series class, the Big Buddy “Dancing with the Stars” fundraiser is scheduled for spring 2007.
